Terms

The case check is free. The case file is a document that sets out your answers for a professional. It has a timeline, a list of documents with the Greek office that issues each one, a deadline calendar, questions to ask and a cover letter in Greek. The expert review is the case file plus forty minutes with a licensed Greek lawyer or a registered cadastral mediator, and their opinion in writing.

You are not buying legal advice, an opinion on title, a guarantee of any outcome, or representation. Kliros is not a law firm.

If we introduce you to a lawyer, notary, mediator or surveyor, your arrangement with them is between you and them, on their terms and at their fees. They're independent professionals, not our employees or agents. We take nothing from what you pay them, and we aren't responsible for their work, their advice or their fees.

For an expert review we pay the professional for their time out of what you paid us. That doesn't make them part of Kliros, and it doesn't make us liable for the opinion they give you.

The case check applies published rules to the facts you enter. If a fact is wrong, the result will be too, and some situations don't fit neatly into any rule. Costs are ranges based on published fee scales and usual practice, not quotes. Tax figures are computed from the objective value you supply, assuming equal shares, and objective values are not market values.

The law changes. The rules used here were checked in September 2026 and every source is listed at the bottom of every page. Check the date before you rely on anything.

If the case file gets your case significantly wrong, tell us and we'll refund it. If you just decide you didn't need it, tell us within fourteen days and we'll refund it. You don't have to justify it.

For an expert review, you can get a refund any time before the call. After the call we only refund the case file part, since the professional has already been paid for their time.

You're buying instant access to digital content, so the legal fourteen-day right to withdraw from an online purchase would normally end once you open the file. We don't rely on that. The refund rules above are what we actually follow.

We're liable for anything the law doesn't allow us to exclude, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and our own fraud. Beyond that, our total liability for anything to do with this service is limited to what you paid us for it.

We aren't liable for a decision you make, or don't make, based on a free case check, or for a deadline that passes.

These terms are governed by Greek law and the Greek courts have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, this doesn't take away your right to go to court where you live, or the protection of your own country's consumer law.
