Kliros gives information and puts people in touch with professionals. It isn't a law firm or a notary's office, and nobody here is acting as your lawyer. Reading a result on this site doesn't make us your lawyer, and nothing on it is covered by legal privilege.

The case check applies published rules to the facts you enter and places them on a procedural track. It hasn't seen your cadastral extract, your title deeds, the will or any certificate. A licensed professional who has seen those may come to a different conclusion, and theirs is the one that counts.

The dates shown are worked out from what you told us, sometimes only to the nearest year. They're there to prompt you to act. We don't track your deadlines, we won't send reminders, and we can't undo a deadline that has passed.

Costs are ranges. Tax is worked out from the objective value you gave us, assuming equal shares. Objective values aren't market prices, shares often aren't equal, and the penalty for a late return depends on facts we don't have. Treat every figure as a rough guide.

The rules used here were current in September 2026, including Law 5303/2026 and article 61 of Law 5326/2026, both in force since 16 September 2026. Sources are listed at the bottom of every page. Greek property and inheritance law changes often, so check before you rely on anything.
