If you're an operator signing in to the admin area, a session cookie keeps you signed in for twelve hours. It's strictly necessary and is only set when you sign in.

If you start a purchase, Stripe sets what it needs on its own checkout pages to take the payment and prevent fraud. Those cookies belong to Stripe, sit on Stripe's domain and are covered by Stripe's privacy notice.

Your browser may keep your case link in its history, like any other page you visit.

We count how many people start the case check, how far they get, how many finish and how many buy, so we can see which questions people give up on. Those counts are tied to a case, not to a person or a device, and they never leave our own database.
